Wired headphones are now being replaced by wireless headphones. Today, we will be review one of the Best Wireless Earbuds and Skullcandy Indy True Wireless earbuds.
Best Wireless Earbuds – Who Is The Skullcandy Indy True Wireless For?
Android users. If you are using iOS, these are a good alternative to Airpods as they are almost suitable. However, these are greater for Android users. I would say the Airpods are better when in the case, but the Skullcandy Indy True Wireless headphones are better when they are in your ears.
People looking for true wireless headphones for exercise. While there are truly wireless headphones out there intended for fitness use, this is not the norm. Thanks to its IP55 rating, this is a good option for the crowd.
Best Wireless Earbuds – How Is The Build Quality Of The Skullcandy Indy True Wireless?
We’ve reviewed the Build Quality of the Skullcandy Indy True Wireless and before we move on to the headphones, we should probably talk about the charging case that came with it. The more true wireless headphone reviews I have, I realize that a product is only as good as its condition. AirPods absorb a lot of things, but the small, smooth case makes the pockets easy to use. Skullcandy Indy follows on in this theory with a small and round case that feels much better than those that came with Push. It’s also much easier to put it in my pocket. The case is still bigger than I wanted, but it is not difficult to manage. For roughly half the price, these push the AirPods their money when it comes to portability. Of course, it’s not a place close to a premium feel – I don’t think it matters as long as it’s ready to use.
The case opens to reveal a cutout where the headphones are plugged in and as soon as possible: Three small LED lights on the front of the box light up to report roughly how much battery is left. The earbuds are held in place by magnets, but I’ve found that the cover of the case doesn’t close as easily as it opens. It seems to be based on the resistance of being stuck rather than magnets, so if the ear tips are bent, the situation will not close properly and this can be annoying. If there was a little more space under the lid to avoid this, though, it only happened to me once in my two-week test.

What Is It Like To Use The Skullcandy Indy True Wireless?
Skullcandy Indy rocks the Bluetooth 5.0 which makes it surprisingly future-proof for a product in this price range. Let’s say your next few devices are Bluetooth 5 compatible. You know how important a longer range and more data transfer is. On my Pixel 3, I did a few jumps and buckles with my phone while I was walking around in my pocket or even doing some quick exercises, but that wasn’t a very annoying thing and it was very little. They occurred, but I was still surprised by how connected they were to each other and my phone. Even when watching YouTube videos, there was no big delay between what I heard and what I heard on the screen. The latency was so small that I couldn’t be sure if I imagined it, so if you watch too many videos on your phone, it should give you a clue as to how to keep them on hold.
My biggest problem with these is the confusing remapping process. I say remapping because the initial pairing process is very easy. As soon as you open the case and take out both earbuds, they enter pairing mode and are easily found in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. However, re-pairing to a second device or resetting Indy reset buds is a process that follows step-by-step instructions on their site. You need to turn off the Bluetooth feature on your phone, remove each ear one at a time, then reset each earbud with your hand, hold your finger against the touchpad for four seconds, and re-insert it. When you do this for both earphones, you can take them out to fix the problem.
How Good Is The Battery Life Of The Skullcandy Indy True Wireless?
When it comes to battery life, we’ve managed to squeeze four hours and 23 minutes of continuous playback at 75dB of output, but Skullcandy claims the charging case can last up to about 16 hours. So you can fully charge them roughly three times before charging the case yourself. Unfortunately, the charging case still uses micro-USB, which is surprisingly inconvenient as most phones now use USB-C or Lightning, so you will have to carry another cable with you.
Should You Buy The Skullcandy Indy True Wireless?
So what does the Skullcandy Indy True Wireless make on the list of the best true wireless headphones? Well, they’re basically located in the middle of the pack. I would say they are above average when it comes to usability, but unfortunately, they are not the best in any category. Still, that’s not to say buying a pair is a waste of your money.
They sound surprisingly good, and the connection between both earbuds of your phone remains strong throughout use. In addition, the IP55 build gives a sweat-resistant stamp of approval that there are not so many true wireless headphones. They’re also only slightly less portable than AirPods and fit better thanks to their ear tips, not to mention they get a very aggressive price at $ 79 compared to other options. However, battery life is only an average value and the need to charge via micro-USB is unlikely to come.
The build quality is not inspiring, despite the aforementioned IP55 rating, and the Skullcandy brand that would otherwise stray away from it all could be a clean, minimal design. Also, repairing another device is a mess. Overall, the Skullcandy Indy are just a few of the true wireless earbuds that I think anyone would be pleased with, but they’re not the amazing ‘bud pair that everyone should definitely have. It’s a great alternative to Airpods even if they’re not a direct competitor. We recommend getting it based on our Skullcandy Indy True Wireless reviews.Buy on Amazon
